Posted by Brian 27 Sep, 2009

Here are 10 ways that you can improve your email autoresponders today and have your conversion rates double, triple or even quadruple almost instantly.

email-autorepsonder-tipsAre you wondering why you aren’t making the sales you think you should even though you’re getting lots of leads every week? It probably has a lot to do with your email autoresponders. After all, they’re what’s doing the selling for you, right? Here are 10 ways that you can improve your email autoresponders today and have your conversion rates double, triple or even quadruple almost instantly.

1. Incorporate Video – the easiest way to do this is to provide a link within the autoresponder that will take your prospects to your video. Simply embed your video on your website or blog, or direct them to YouTube (or where ever the video is being hosted). Video is a great way to build an even stronger relationship and be more transparent in your message. Simple, yet powerful.

2. Write Like The Pros Copywriting is the “Million Dollar Skill.” The first thing you can do is start a swipe file of emails, blogs, or other written material that you find on the web that catches your attention. Don’t reinvent the wheel; just find content that you can model after. Keep in mind people are hit with tons of advertisements every day, so you’re going to have to be creative with what you say in order to keep your prospects attention. Read More >>

Google Beware: Bing Is On The Move

Posted by Brian 18 Sep, 2009

Bing is a player in the search game and is fighting and earning market share month over month. In fact, Bing is now the fastest growing search engine.

Bing-microsoftBack on June 3, 2009, Microsoft officially launched their new search brand, Bing. This was more than just a rebranding of the Microsoft search platform, but rather a repositioning to create a “decision engine.” The goal of Bing is to “provide customers with intelligent search tools to help them simplify tasks and make more informed decisions,” according to a Microsoft spokeperson.

That’s all well and good, but first we must understand that the odds were clearly stacked against Bing since it’s had to go up against the search giant, Google. This is obviously a pretty daunting task for Bing or any search engine for that matter, but they knew what they were getting themselves into and they were clearly up for the challenge. Read More >>

How To Set-Up A Facebook Page For Your Business

Posted by Krysti 17 Sep, 2009

This may come as a surprise to some of you, but looking at the number of fans a Facebook Page has is not the most important stat to measure success. Learn the keys to having tons of fans and a successful Facebook page…

facebookworld

Back in July when Facebook had 250 million users we all knew it wouldn’t be long until that number grew to 300 million.  Well it’s official as of September 15, 2009 Facebook announced that they have 300 million users. So what now? Well, I guarantee Facebook is not going to stop growing…people love the Facebook community too much and everyone is talking about it.

With all of these people on Facebook naturally a competitive nature has been born.  Marketers aka people that are out there promoting a Facebook Page are all racing to get as many fans as possible. Why? Well, people look at  the number of fans a Facebook Page has as a direct measure of success.  We were first exposed to this concept when Ashton Kutcher challenged CNN to a race to 1 million followers Twitter (Ashton won by the way). All of the sudden we all wanted thousands and thousands of followers on twitter too. The race was on, and it’s happening in the Facebook world now too. Read More >>

Social Networking Lands Me Guest Appearance On Radio Show

Posted by Krysti 10 Sep, 2009

The Internet is a fascinating place that gives you the ability to meet, talk to and create relationships with people, tons of people, that you would never have thought possible 10, 15, or 20 years ago. That’s what happened to me when I met radio talk show host JL Godfrey through social networking. We now have the ability to be “connected” and I mean really connected with anyone and everyone from across the globe.

YouTube Statistics: Hold On To Your Pants

Posted by Krysti 10 Sep, 2009

You see, we already know that everyone wants to hang out on YouTube, but the most important YouTube statistic to us as marketers is, “Does YouTube actually have an influence on peoples’ desire to take action and buy?” Let me wet your pallet with this YouTube statistic: 45% of all YouTube visitors are seeking information about products or services to purchase.

youtube-targetYouTube has been the talk of the town and it’s old news for me to tell you that there are millions of people taking advantage of the totally unique and unpredictable content that is produced by YouTubers every single day. There are plenty of people that use YouTube as a source of entertainment, comic relief, meditation, or just plain aimless browsing. I know when I’m having a bad day I can always find a funny video of a dog jumping on a trampoline or a baby farting. The global society as a whole has reached it’s arms out and completely embraced YouTube and all that it has to offer. The facts are in the pudding so get your spoon out.

I hopped over to Alexa.com where I searched and found the most up-to-date YouTube statistics. YouTube is the 4th most trafficked site on the entire web. Read More >>

What The Hell Is Branding Anyways? Shut Up With The Branding!

“Branding.”

This word gets tossed around on the Internet left and right. It’s clearly an important detail to pay attention to, but more often than not this topic is completely misunderstood.

When we got started online, we had mentors showing us the ropes, and everything that they did looked so amazing to our little novice internet marketing eyes that we wanted to be just like them. Well, this is all well and good, but you can’t expect to create “your brand” when you’re looking over the shoulder of the person next to you taking their ideas verbatim. This is part of the confusion that we went through and I can tell you that if you pay attention to this one specific point, you will save yourself a ton of time and countless headaches.  Really when you’re looking at other peoples’ blogs, facebook pages, landing pages, Twitter accounts and so on, you’re doing your research, your due diligence and really getting an idea of what you want to represent.  Be sure you’re taking note of what you like and dislike because these are the ideas that will help you develop your personality and flair that you’re going to represent online. This is where a brand is born. Read More >>
